Final Layouts

Layout with a Pirate Ship crashed in an indoor old castle dock.
 Toned in black and white.

Layout of an "urban hell". Cables, pipe waterfalls, street car cables, posts, fences, etc leading down into the ground.
Toned in black and white.

Thanks to Blake for all the painting help and textures. wouldn't be this good without him.
but yay, i like them and how they turned out XD. still thinking about redoing the tonals with no linework though. lemme know what you think.

Backgrounds for Storm of Norm

Note: Colours were following the Art Director's pre-made schemes. I was just one of the digital painters for the film were working on in Flash Class. The shot was drawn by one of the board artists, the lab was developed by many designers, and the trees and fire hydrant were taken from another layout artist to be a universal objects distributed through all the layouts for continuity.

In essence, I had to adapt my shot to look like everyone elses. So--many credits to a whole bunch of other people ^____^.

Here's the blog if you're interested.

barber shop

first layout...barber shop. messy, as always, but that was probably the toughest week of skool ever. i was rele down, and didnt have time to clean this up as much as i wanted. i cleaned in photoshop for the second part, to do it's lighting [shade it], which was pretty sloppy too. i forgot my notes, and i guess i didn't fully understand the assignment. either way, i like my layour, and thot it was rele different compared to alot of ppl.

the shading was alot darker on my monitor. it looked closer to black and white. this looks pretty cool though. i wanted to use blue instead of black for the hell of it. very simple compared to alot of ppls, but thats okay!
